The truth about reality

Movies and fictions have habituated us to expect of scintillating climaxes in real life stories. The generation comes to anticipate scandal or a jaw drop even to the most simplest of errands.

This is so ingrained into the human behavior and cognition that we glide on a declined trajectory if we hear a simple or predictive ending. We yearn for spice, gossip and irregularities in every story. Why?

Because simple and plain vanilla doesn’t qualify as news. We do not influence our circle with any groundbreaking knowledge. The epidemic is so worse that we go on adding our own ingredients into the pan to make the story suit our pallette.

We dislike weakness, vulnerability and do not want to hear stories where one gave up or lived a simpleton. This in turn points to our own vulnerability that we keep ducking away from.

Let’s bring the simple, the vulnerable and the boring on the table. For when we embrace reality as it is, we embrace everything within us and the ones around us.
